IMG_4346Here’s your chance to participate in an ancient healing ritual to promote clarity, life direction and purpose.  Founded by the indigenous tribe in 950-1130 AD, the Maori Medicine Men of New Zealand began making these drawings as sacred portraits of their work for the upcoming year.   Suzan will guide the group on a journey into the unconscious realm to identify where to focus your energy during the following year for optimal health and well-being The late Dr. Angeles Arrien, a Cultural Anthropologist, lived with a Maori tribe and learned this diagnostic tool which she shared to promote wellness and peace for all.

We were expertly guided in creating a Maori Mandala Soul Portrait, an exercise that helped us see where we needed to focus our energy and goals for a balanced physical, emotional, and spiritual life.  We ended up staying long after the workshop, sharing information and discussing the implications.  She kept us focused and on task (not an easy thing with our talkative group!) and was quite knowledgeable in interpreting everyone’s results and answering even the most unusual questions. The exercise was both helpful and enlightening, but equally important, it created a sense of togetherness and spirit amongst our group.”  Dawn R.

“Thank you Suzan for giving my body, the pain a voice….and now it is quiet in my world….no pain.”❤ Jennifer

Listen, Learn and Love Your Body

(Ideal 4 hours; 2 or 3 hour options)

Learn powerful ways to listen to the wisdom of your body. Explore what you need for your optimal well-being and learn life-enhancing techniques you can do on your own. The program is experiential and will utilize the transformative expressive arts including meditation, movement (dance), art making (a range of choices), and reflective writing. It is not necessary to be an artist to participate. With expressive arts we focus on the process, not the product. Creating art heals!

“ I took Suzan’s workshop on listening to the Body’s wisdom and literally that day the relentless pain in my feet left. I gave voice to my pain, I found compassion for my poor feet and I allowed the pain to just be, I honored it, I surrendered to it, I grieved it…and paradoxically it left. Thank you Suzan for giving my body, the pain a voice….and now it is quiet in my world….no pain.❤” Jennifer,
